Water Dancers, My World

Not much sunshine here for taking pictures, as soon as things brighten up I'll go back to the rookery. Many of the smaller herons are nesting now. Here are some of my favorite birds again, with some of my favorite music.

I returned your visit and love your pictures, Bob. Years ago I built a house on seven acres for the wife and kids. Well, it didn't seem right to have a house without a barn, so I had a bulldozer out to dig a pond and build a high spot to put that barn.
That pond seemed lonely without a duck in it, so I built a chest type incubator and bought some mallard eggs. It wasn't long before we had a flock of mallards in that pond, and nesting all over the place. They sure were pretty of an evening when they'd stretch their wings and fly around a bit.

Thanks, y'all, back almost 60 years ago they had to fight to keep me from running wild in the woods, now, I've escaped again, and they'll never take me alive this time!
