Things started out bright and blue this morning, but at a little after 1 PM a bank of fog rolled in from offshore, sat down, and started to thicken. No used trying any long shots, you couldn't see them anyway.
I made my rounds, all the usual places, and found a few depressed looking critters to aggravate, they were standing around, almost dozing. The tide wasn't right for feeding, next good tide cycle will be after dark.

No photos...bummer..
hey I think your sack full of cameras is overflowing and you need to donate one to me...tee hee
I only have two now, got to have a spare. Actually, I have given some cameras away as I upgraded. I work them hard, and hate to sell something that may not last long.
One of my cameras was a gift, my Olympus C2100UZ, can't give that one up, it's a classic collectors item.
I did get some shots today, the Heron, the Stork and the Great Egret on the page, but they are short range shots. Anything over about 50 feet away was just impossible today.
Ya better break out the long handles for the weekend, it ain't stayin' warm for long.
I know, been watching it come. Maybe it will make some ducks fly, anyway!
Fog is easy to paint, but tough to photograph. It doesn't give the right light, let alone the clarity. But it's fun to walk around in as you point out.
Fog does make white feathers easier to render, LOL, but they will still over expose if you get careless!
